I'm LeAnn, a 20-somethings Catholic. I am married to best friend, Josh, and together, we have one wonderful little boy. Although I am a cradle-Catholic, my conversion of heart really occurred during college. This led me to begin writing about faith journey online as a way to explore and learn more about the Catholic faith and God I love so deeply.
I work as a the middle school English-Language Arts educator at a Catholic school. At St. Regis Academy, we are beginning our journey into the Classical curriculum model and I am overjoyed to be a part of such a beautiful way to help our young scholars learn about the world and how God is a part of everything! I share about my lessons and units, as well as reflections on how they go here.
When I am not working, I am trying my best to live my vocation and bring my husband and son closer to God each day. I share all about my journey as a mother, Catholic feminism and femininity, and whatever else strikes my fancy here. Each post on the Living page tries to connect faith and everyday living; our faith goes beyond Sunday worship and morning prayer! We strive to live it each day.
Finally, the original Catholic Compass page, Praying, is all about my spiritual journey and different ideas to help support yours. I try to incorporate mindfulness into my prayer life by keeping things simple and being intentional when I pray. You can expect Lenten and Advent reflections, deep studies of the Bible, and new information about our faith every Tuesday.
Thank you so much for joining me here! If you haven't already, please take a moment to like my Facebook page (so that you won't miss a post) and you can follow me on Twitter and Instagram too, if you'd like.
